LitLab is a curriculum-aligned foundational literacy platform that helps students become confident, fluent readers while giving their teachers a clear, daily picture of how each child is progressing.

Students read short decodable stories aloud and complete spelling tasks matched to exactly where they are in their school's phonics program, and LitLab listens to and analyzes every word a child reads to pinpoint which letter-sound patterns they have mastered and which still need work. This gives every student far more individualized practice than a typical classroom can provide on its own, and because it works even when a teacher has limited time to differentiate, it is especially valuable in under-resourced schools. Since mastery is measured continuously as a byproduct of practice, that same evidence flows back to teachers as specific, lesson-level insight grounded in their existing curriculum, collapsing the gap between when a student starts to struggle and when a teacher can respond from weeks to days.

“After more than 40 years in education, I can say that LitLab has had one of the most meaningful impacts on student reading growth that I have experienced in my career. What stood out most was not only the academic growth students demonstrated, but the development of confident, independent readers."
